Tiny Fingers And Tiny Toes Poem by Bonnie Collins

Tiny Fingers And Tiny Toes

Rating: 5.0

Tiny fingers with tiny toes
to match, you were handed
to me and my world entered
a new demention

Bundled in your pink baby
soft blanket, I was holding
you for the very first moment

Your cheeks I remember were
so soft and had an aroma of
baby fresh accented with
the feel of fresh fallen snow

If the world stopped that moment
my life now would have been complete

Watching you grow from tiny fingers
and tiny toes into this incredible person
who now like her mom, has a pair of
tiny fingers and tiny toes.....

Bonnie, Beautiful in every way, some really vivid images and heartwarming thoughts... from the depths of your soul. Your quilled pen is as sharp as ever! Take care, Robert

I love this poem so many memories flooded back when I was lucky enough to be in the room when my baby was born. He was the most glorious baby I ever laid eyes on.. My heart melted and my soul bonded quickly with his.. Thank you for the memory..
