Title Struck

titles are given based on what one does
some placed by man
but God names with a divine hand
the Father above calls us by first name
it’s distinguished from other’s same
even though some do not live up
to the value of its truth
a title is not just who you are
identity is found in Christ above and far
to live a life of peace
and not abusive control
by titles changeable told
cause you’ll have a new name
in the Lamb’s Book of Life
which will not change
by the love of Jesus Christ
