To A Loving Bird Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

To A Loving Bird

Soaring high;
Among the clouds,
Wandering all day,
In Infinity-Sky,
In the meadows,
And in the wood,
For a morsel of food,
Touches down
The bough at sundown,
Flutters around,
Looks at her divine nest,
And lulled by leafy rustles,
Stooped to joyous rest,
Oh, little soul, you forget
Your sunset musical notes,
That used to pour forth
From heaven to earth,
Comforting many
An anguished soul,
Bidding all rejoice
At your sweet notes,
Sing, little soul, sing
Let the sweet notes ring
Louder, longer in my ear,
Until I fall asleep,
Forgetting all the world’s care,
Like you, the soul-bird
Anchoring high, high in the air……

Wonderful lines..... Sing, little soul, sing Let the sweet notes ring....Very true said when our soul-bird sing, no other voice can be as sweet as its voice, no other notes can be as sweet as its loving notes...which will calms ones heart. To make our Soul-bird we have to feed her with happiness and positivity....Loved the way you presented it...Lovely poem.
