To Accept Myself As I Am. Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

To Accept Myself As I Am.

Rating: 5.0

The Pure Self in me
is beautiful.

The inner light is in my pure Self.

When I become aware of it
my confidence grows.
I allow it to shine brighter and brighter
by listening to the murmurings of God.

God helps me to give myself
all the Respect, Love and Self-esteem.

I learn to love myself
to accept me as I am.

I am the being that I am
while God dwells in me.

To Accept Myself As I Am.

The real fact has been revealed by you through your poem. The entire world highlights our lacuna and weaknesses but the Lord accepts us the way we are...We get depressed by the thoughts of others but we have to realize that the ultimate owner of this universe doesn't have any problem that is why he has created us...When this feeling will accompany us, then, nothing in this universe can make us unhappy, ...we will be able to love ourselves and satisfied with what we are having.

God is Great and I am sure he will honour your prayer, a prayer so well written.......Amazing poem, Sir.

hard to deny that fact but people kept on denying themselves as God fails to dwell in them so that one perfect masterpiece, the self, is being masked by worldly things as self acceptance does not find its way into a person's heart. very nice

Simple, guileless relation between Self and Life. When we learn to love and accept ourselves then we learn to love and accept others too. This poem shows yet again His benevolent residence all about you.

Dear Doctor, the poem reminds me one of the basic concepts in Hindu theology, Ko Aham? and in answer Aham Brahmasmi(I am the Brahma) i.e. incarnation of God. Self esteem is thus very important for one who has such conviction. Hats off. Ten.
