To Another Poem by Saorsie Dana

To Another

Why don't you just go?
get away.
Be where you want to be.
anywhere.
What changed?
What's always the same?
Why are there always questions?
Why do I always call?
What's with always
and never?
What's with poetry
that doesn't matter.
How do you always make me feel
so crazy
for wanting to be sane?
What changed?
Why am I asking,
when I already know.
I'll never be free
like I told you I'd be.
But I want to be tied
down to another
I want to love him
forever.
The answers
aren't always what we thought.
