I want to be like Him
Just like my Messiah
That is what I must be
Cos' He created me in His image.

Like Jesus I must be
Always plenteous with patience
Forgiving at all times
Caring for the needy
And leading by example

I must be like my Messiah
Bringing joy to the hopeless
Setting captive free
Delivering the oppress
Supporting people in all trials


That is what I must be
A worthy joint heir with Him
And emissary of God's empire
With the bible as our foundation
And Heaven as my final endpoint

I want to be like Jesus
Thwarting the moves of the devil
Trampling the devil under my feet
Planting the gospel on all fields
Harvesting converts for the Kingdom
