To Be Stoned To Death By Barbarism Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

To Be Stoned To Death By Barbarism

To be stoned to death by Barbarism

To have a life for others
With which the poverty curses
In the term of maid service
She went to the Middle East
Where the modern slavery exists

The day is prepared
She is condemned to death
To their hands, Shariya has given Stones
Her sin is love of adultery
Love is their sin
The quote of Jesus
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to cast a stone”
Not in Al Quran
They who are without sin
One by one do throw a stone
To show the world
Savageness of cruelty

Victim from the Buddha’s land
Where the Karma is accepted
May suffer from the action
Crying whole organs

It’s only one
Out of the whole
To the Buddhist state
To which the exchange of foreign is grabbed
It might silence and welcome barbaric princes and kings
Without caring citizen

What’s to be done is to find the key
Where it is lost or
Where the light is

She might be gone
It might be a news
Will last for a couple of weeks
Until such horrible thing calls
