To Everything There Is A Season

Rating: 5.0

To everything there is A season,
A time for every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be bourn, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to reap;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
Atime to embrace, and atime to refrain from embracing;
Atime to gain, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate;
A time for war, and a time for peace.

How can anyone take an inspired passage of Solomon of the Old Testament and claim it as their own? I know people dont know the Bible but those of us who know something about it, ha ha gotcha

Great poem. The stanza A time to embrace and the one right below needs to be spaced as by editing. Just trying to help out here. I still have to go through my poems and recheck myself to editing factors. Once again this is a great poem that deservedly got a ten from me. God bless all poets-MJG.
