To Fail Poem by Emily Moore

To Fail

Rating: 3.5

It wasn’t set in stone
She stood alone
A mystery to be unveiled
A dream that hadn’t yet sailed
Quietly she took her dream
And threw it, or so it would seem
The people she knew, knew nothing of it
And she detested every bit
She never achieved, so she couldn’t believe
Her confidence was floored
She shut the window, locked the door
And never said one word more
