To Her Poem by Kasia Fedyk

To Her

Rating: 5.0

Her silhouette stood
in a rapture of emotions
weaved in treads of all colors

Her broken heart wept gently,
her thin arms to weak to embrace
the open wounds
that encircled her core
as she felt them with every
thriving beat.

The end of the road was near
it was a whisper, a dialogue,
so she knew,
to her the beginning will always remain
like a ray of sunshine
after a heavy pour

In a mean time the delicate butterfly wings
in desperation to find shelter
in the nature it provides.

Her body in need of support
against the arrow of darkness
