To K. Poem by Ronald lizardibrown

To K.

The starry sky by empty rock,
whose rain has turned to archipelagos
the corner-stone, more numerous
than the heavens, and breath life
into a Socratic bust.

2

-What drool from this seems
to be, the pelting wash of the
Nile, the less fragrant
... - and less treacherous
(still nigh Africa's beauty!) ?

3

Still place roamed and unkep't -
by a guiding light, not guiding,
the red sands of Greece - scattered -
pearls, vain, upon the beach.

4

And when the Earth reaches the
heavens- the Earth a paradise still -
I can say, ''I have seen a mortal seraph''.
