Don't let me listen to the music,
music makes me sad,

Don't let me hear to the words of love,
Love makes me sad,

Dont let me walk to the places we use to walk,
Places like that remind me of you,
It might break my heart.

Dont let me hear other children talking about their father,
It makes me miss you even more.

I am like a bird with broken wings,
No one there to support me when I fall down.

I am like a butterfly living in the darkness.

All I want is just to feel that you are here,
to give me words of kindness,
To wipe my tears when I am sad.

All I wish for my father is one more time,
To say: Daddy I love you.
And scream so loud,
So you can hear me: goodbye my father,
but I miss you.
