To My Fellow Poets Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

To My Fellow Poets

Amateur but mature we are;
Writing and sharing poems for pleasure
Living in different parts of world we care
To all wishing the best makes us happier

No doubt, of poems not all are good composers
God's gift a blessing that we all know so rare
Still happy seeing all burning midnight oil to gift us better
Happy seeing compliments coming to us
In soothing and inspirational words like breather

Some good talents wishing to touch sky,
To surpass master poets of yester-years,
Well and good and our best wishes with them,
To see them at par with Shakespeare,
Wordsworth and other great poets,
Will make us happier than ever,
And souls of great poets livelier
In using soothing and inspirational words
We may boost morals of good poets as we say even better

Stars have started appearing in evening sky
In a while the whole sky will be covered
With millions of twinkling stars
Of them will interest only five to ten stars
So much they mean to so many poets to be very fair
Blessed are we with stars in our hands
To make our fellow poets stars of today
With soothing and inspirational words
They will make better poets of today, tomorrow and ever......

There are many stars illuminating our sky..... Let the Earth bathe in their radiance.... Let us all strive to become bright stars to add to the radiance.... A sweet tribute to fellow poets!
