To My Girlfriend In The Hospital
I miss you, my darling,
As I always do
But today is especially hard
Because the walls are singing to me
And the song is that
Of our life together.
Why, I wonder,
As I sit alone in this darkened room,
Have we been forced apart?
I do not know the answer
To this question
And I am torn by anxiety
In all my waking hours.
This is terrible, and i know the very nerve reckoning feeling even though im only 15.
