To My Love Poem by Niltiak Yelsae

To My Love

Rating: 5.0

You are my Helen of Troy,
My Aphrodite of Olympus,
My huntress Athena.

You are my love, my life,
My princess, my goddess.
The keeper of the key to my soul.

Anything you ask of me,
I would do it.
Any insecurities you have,
I would do my best to crush them.

Your eyes seem to look right into my soul,
Your gaze penetrates the darkest recesses of my heart.

You question why I stare?
I stare because I want to soak you all in before you have to leave.

Would you care if I watched you as you slept?
Would it bother you if I worshipped the ground you walk on?

To me you are more beautiful than Helen of Troy,
Lovlier than Aphrodite,
And wiser than Athena.
You, my love, are my goddess
And my muse.
