To My Nan Poem by leighcandice young

To My Nan

Rating: 5.0

In a place beneath the clouds
Where special angels go
Lies a women so dear to me
I want you all to know

A loving wife, a treasure mum
The best grandmother of all
She taught me to be strong and proud
'No matter what stand tall'

She liked her cups of tea and her pommy shows
UK-TV a must
She was so wise beyond her years
She helped us all adjust

God is so lucky to have you
For I want you here with me
But I know I cannot be selfish
There are places you need to be

I will always remember our special memories
And feel you by my side
Until we meet again, my nan
I'll keep you deep inside.
