The call of spring brought us together
We knew back then we meant forever
Though love so young is not prepared
For soil so arid,
tamped and bare
Midsummer came and so we parted
Ten more pass
And then restarted
Soon then our old seeds found their roots
Love as strong as oak
with healing fruits
