To Raise A Rainbow Poem by Soumita Sarkar

To Raise A Rainbow

Rating: 5.0

I shall not care less
You curse me or bless
The best for me lies ahead
Though now I am in shreds
In grim grief also I smile
Before accusing think a while
My days are dull and dark
My nights in need of spark
I am the lone fighter
Though many kin gather
This mixture of weather
Brings tasks even greater
My road of life is sullen
But I am not yet done
To do what is written
I shall toil to be patient
To raise a rainbow golden
From this pall ashen
I have to bargain
Notes of joy not pain
After laying this ill coffin
Deep in memory of action
Yes.....I am unbroken
My soul can't be beaten
