To Roshan Poem by PramodThomas Arackal

To Roshan

You were a star,
fallen from the bare sky.
When the frozen fingers of death touched upon you,
you were alone
in a strange place
immersed in wounds, but still smiling.
Only your smiles linger in our minds,
with eternal charm.
All music in the world stopped for us
when you closed your eyes, forever.

Your cold wounds like dark butterflies, unmoving.

Death is a frozen thought.
