To The Moon Poem by Javad O'Jaghi

To The Moon

Rating: 5.0

Not that far to go
Not so much of the nights to go
Take your chance, let go
Of this dirt, to the moon you go

To this ball of white you go
To this mirror of sun you go
To this silvery egg you go
To the mountain of holes you go

Up to the moon you go
Up where you can touch you go
Up till you hear you go
Up to her heart you go

Find her beauty under her shell
Find her favor through cracks before farewell
Find her boon and where it did dwell
Find her pity for us, the dumbest of all to be well

To her hatching, up you go
To her fly, up you go
Where you see her reborn, you go
Giving the dumbest of all a chance, that's where you go
