To The Old Man Poem by Michael Saurer

To The Old Man

Hello to the old man
To the one without beginning
To the one without an end
To the one who is almighty
To the one who sees when others don’t
To the one who cares when others hate

Do you remember me
The one with faith and doubts
The one with a shell too hard
The one who is not easy
The one who fights when others quit
The one who thinks when others do

You made me meet her
The one with eyes so blue
The one with a heart for earth
The one who is the reason
The one who makes me care again
The one who shows me life again

You took a friend of me
The one with four feet to go
The one with a hunger for life
The one who was a fighter
The one who barked when others ran away
The one who walked when others stood

Goodbye to the old man
To the one without a question
To the one without an endless doubt
To the one who gives me a hard time
To the one who watches when others try to help
To the one who knows when others try to talk

I don’t ask for help
I don’t ask for her heart
I don’t ask for an end of grief
I just ask for the power to go
I just ask for the charm of love

Incredible... that cannot be judged by words, everything is said in the poem, it is to be felt, beautiful! !
