To The Unwanted Poem by Elizabeth Clement

To The Unwanted

Rating: 5.0

If you were truly unwanted
Then she wouldn’t like you so much
That it hurts.

If you were truly unwanted
Then she wouldn’t cry every time she see you
Because she knows nothing will ever happen.

If you were truly unwanted
Then she wouldn’t have scars on her wrist
As her secret reminders that you could never be hers.

If you were truly unwanted
Then she wouldn’t love you the way she does
With all of her broken beating heart

So see your not unwanted
But I know someone who is truly unwanted
By you

If you were truly unwanted
Then she wouldn’t be me

I can't honestly say I like the idea of cutting but you interpret you thoughts in a very powerful way.
