To Unknow The Known (Loving Mind) Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

To Unknow The Known (Loving Mind)

To forget evil tricks.
From where they came.
And who it was with lips whispered.
Done to twist.
While watching how I would react to this.
Chipping away my need for rest.
Chipping away more of it.
I would find hard to get.

The smell of their B.S.
Remained to upset my peace.
I would toss and turn many nights,
Without sleep.
And when I tried to reset,
My memories to unknow the known...
To let go with it erased.
The who I knew,
Placed upon my path their trash to leave.
I became haunted with visions,
Of squeezing the breath...
From their broken and limp necks.
With it left to God to decide,
How my thoughts He would judge.
From up above.
When below He still could detect,
My loving mind I kept for Him protected.
