Toaster On The Wall Poem by David Lacey

Toaster On The Wall

Abandoned toaster on the wall
A symbol that can say it all
In a world in which we have it all
We abandon toasters on the wall.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was walking along on my way to work and there was what looked like a perfectly fine and quite expensive toaster on a random wall out in the rain. I thought probably nothing more than a screwdriver and a bit of know how would have that toaster fixed in no time. These words then sprang to mind.
