Today
Today as I stand soaked in the rain,
I feel each dropp washes away all the pain.
I coax my heart to grow back again,
And not let my turmoil go in vain.
Today as the sun peeks from behind a big, dark cloud,
I can feel each ray bless only me in this crowd.
I coax my heart to laugh out loud,
And not let my hopes die in doubt.
Today as the rainbow bridges the earth and sky,
I can feel all my tears being wiped dry.
I coax my heart to not ask why,
As my smile, again, has begun to reach up to my eye.

Lovely poem on life. Picking up the pieces, 'As my smile, again, has begun to reach up to my eye. ' Great presentation, nice rhyme. Would be more eye-catching if split into 3 stanzas starting with ' Today' - related to 3 phases. Drop with a single p would also be pleasing. Best wishes.10+++
