Today... 'He Who Inhabits Eternity' Poem by Roy Allen

Today... 'He Who Inhabits Eternity'

From everlasting to everlasting the Lord God reigns
Eternity past and eternity future are His domains.
He is not confined to an earthly temple or synagogue
For in high and holy places dwells Jehovah our God.
'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord, ' the seraphim's cry
For He Who inhabits eternity is so Lofty and High.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Isaiah 57: 15
For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:

' I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(New King James Version)

The Bible calls You by many names
each one giving a glimpse of Your glory.
Like a cut diamond radiating in the sun
with every facet depicting a glorious aspect
of Your Divine Nature.
Today I have thought of You as
'He Who inhabits eternity '
