Today I Choose To Hate Poem by bob eichen

Today I Choose To Hate

Rating: 5.0

Today,
I choose to hate!
I'm hungry.
So I'll hate the race of Macrodonts, with their huge white teeth, that gnash and gnaw and munch and crunch as they eat up all the food.
Oh, how I hate them!
Because I can't feed myself.

Tomorrow,
I'll choose to hate!
I'm ignorant.
So I'll hate the race of Supracephalians with their great bulbous black craniums, thinking, thinking, thinking, all their thoughts, thoughts, thoughts, thoughts.
Oh, how I hate them!
Because I can't educate myself.

And on the next day,
I'll choose to hate!
I'm poor.
So I'll hate the race of Pyrodactyls, with their red flaming fingers always grasping and clutching, grabbing and grubbing up all the wealth.
Oh, how I hate them!
Because I can't escape my poverty.

And on the day after,
I'll choose to hate!
I'm weak.
So I'll hate the race of Brontotheres, with their brown bulging muscles, their bodies so strong and their arms so mighty.
Oh, how I hate them!
Because I can't defend myself.

And the day after,
I'll choose to hate.
I'm ugly.
So I'll hate the race of Cryoderms, with their cold blue skin, how like Gods they seem.
Oh, how I hate them!
Because
my
Envy and Jealosy,
my
Weakness and Laziness,
and my
Ignorance
and
Hatred
really have made me ugly!
