Today No More I Can Write Poetry

Rating: 4.7

I am here standing in front of you to day
To confess something I have done wrong
According my conscience and etiquette of the world
I have banned one well reputed poet
From a country called Turkey permanently
For bashing me and my religion
Under the cover of his revolutionary poetry.

I am very sad at this moment
My heart hangs and becomes very weighty
Oh! What a tender ''sensibility and sensitivity''
From a heart others think made up of stone!
A mind I hold so softer others think full of
Hard core extremism, the real fact is that
Tears are coming down from my hurt eyes and I am crying
Today no more I can write poetry
As if I am killed or have murdered the poet resides in me
So humble is my attitude, so fearful i am from the guilty
Of hurting others ‘sentiment yet they think
I am a deadly terrorist, if this the case
Now I sit and wonder!

Who are they who kill
In Bosnia, Chechnya, girls children women
In Afghanistan Palestine Iraq, old and young
Who are they in killing spree in Gujarat in 2002?
In 1984 in Delhi and in Mumbai in 1992?
Who burns down Graham Stain alive along with his child In Orissa?
Oh! My lord! They are all sophisticated! !
Now I compare my violent guts and hateful mind
Others think so ferocious in reality that could not kill a fly
With theirs so soft like flower petals take away
Thousands of lives with a smiling face
Later to boost up killer instinct
and to brag in front of groups
members of family,
mothers and sisters
With thumping chest! ! !

Oh! God, order the earth
To come up with a crack
Deep and wide
The heat of hypocrisy is too hot here
On the surface, I want to go inside
And take shelter into her darkness!
