Today... 'The Confidence Of All The Ends Of The Earth' Poem by Roy Allen

Today... 'The Confidence Of All The Ends Of The Earth'

My confidence is in the God of my salvation
for I will not trust any other man or nation.
He is the Confidence of all the ends of the earth
The Only One Who has come to us by virgin birth.

He Who by His mighty strength established the mountains
The Eternal God the Omnipotent One Who reigns.
He stills the tumult of the people, the waves and sea
with awesome deeds of righteousness He answers me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Psalm 65: 5-7 (New King James Version)
By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us,
O God of our salvation,
You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth,
And of the far-off seas;
Who established the mountains by His strength,
Being clothed with power;
You who still the noise of the seas,
The noise of their waves,
And the tumult of the peoples.

The Bible calls You by many names
each one giving a glimpse of Your glory.
Like a cut diamond radiating in the sun
with every facet depicting an aspect
of Your Divine Nature.
Today I have thought of You as
'The Confidence of all the ends of the earth'
