A smile shines through the tears
It’s come to wash away my fears
A salty tear runs down my cheek
Together were strong, no longer weak
A warm hand slips into mine
Now I know all will be fine
You are that smile, you are that hand
A love like ours is never planned
You’re always there in times of need
To soothe the hurt and calm the deed
Now I can smile when I see your face
For I know in your heart I have a place
So together we shall fight this war
And over the darkness we shall soar
Through the good times, through the bad
When were happy, when were sad
So remember this and don’t forget
You’re the best person I’ve ever met
