Together We Shall Be Poem by DreamLess Dreamer

Together We Shall Be

We stand outside in the frigid weather
We stand real close, our hands together

The feel of your icy fingertips upon my face
Makes butterflies flutter and my heart race

The warmth of your body up against mine
Causing an intense sensation that feels so fine

Your lips dance upon my lips
Then you taste a tear that has just slipped

'Dont worry I will come back, '
You whispered to me this true fact

I replied with a sigh and said, 'I love you'
'Yes, ' you said 'I love you too'

Once again we kiss goodbye
Sadness arose, but I will not cry

A promise you have made to me
Will not be broken till together we shall be
