Toll Of Love

As I was sitting alone the circled room
Mine eyes shifted to nothingness
Scenes paraded memory lane
Lips twitched in sheer recognition
Mood lightened, blank eyes glistened

At times eyes filled-up, become glassy
Cares mounted Himalayas, tears-Nile
Lips knot in pain
Cheeks burn in passion
Mood darkened, eyes become fierce

Love is multi-dimensioned, true
Yesterday I was on cloud 9
Now, I’m diving down deep
Tomorrow…who knows what will become of tomorrow
I don’t either.
