Tomorrow Poem by Artie T. Hoffpauir

Tomorrow

Rating: 4.0

Today the skies are overcast and gray
The air is damp and cold
The wind is beating a path to my door
I can feel it make its way
Around the house and through the yard.
Tomorrow it's halloween
The day when the goblins
Make their presence known
The old witch grab her broom
And ride through the town
The leaves are falling
Like snowflakes
They tumble through the air
Like birds they fly up and away
They're putting a show on
For the world to see
Soon they'll be gone
The show will be over
The music will cease to play
The curtain will come down
But tomorrow a new day
Will bring more beauty
To our land
A new song to sing
And a promise of better things
