Tomorrow



Patiently
I waited
Tomorrow
You said
I’ll talk to you tomorrow
And foolishly
I believed.
Tomorrow came
Tomorrow left
And surely I thought
Tomorrow would be tomorrow
And naively
It wasn’t tomorrow that came
It was just another day.
But, surely, I thought it would come along
But for us, tomorrow never came.
