Tomorrow Poem by John Griffiths

Tomorrow

Darkness is the curtain,
Drawn tight across my eyes,
With pinholes for the stars to shine,
In the evanescent skies.

Yet nothing lasts forever,
Not sorrow, grief nor pain.
There will always be tomorrow,
When the sun will shine again.
