Tomorrow Poem by Evelyn Macdonald

Tomorrow

Rating: 5.0

I peek outside my window
it's the middle of the night
awakened by their arguments
I feel I have the right
once again he's leaving us
a suitcase in each hand
I want to ask him what I've done
as teardrops fall unplanned
it's snowing hard and on the ground
his footprints in the snow
I'll ask mommy in the morning
where did my daddy go.

I do hope, for your father's sake, that he reads this poignant poem. Best wishes to your mother.
