Tonight Let Me Think In English



Tonight let me think in English
all arrayed in spelling mistakes and spells
mistaken for a single simple academic sigh
to get the feel of a post-colonial pearl
spat at the shores of Transatlantic Ocean
conditionally called Pacific when on sedatives
to figure out the sigh in all the tongues
united tongues of the Simple breathing as one
