Too Bad Poem by Sandra Feldman

Too Bad

Driven by stupidity, ignorance and corruption,
We plod along,
In a Nation of Fast Foods and mental obesity,
Not all the Computers, nor dishonest men,
Can ever, unfortunately,
Make this Country whole again,
Goodbye, America, Goodbye,
Too Bad
Great while is lasted,
Now,
Sad, Sad, intolerably, SAD!

Political betrayal has consequences.
So does Evil, when it takes over.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I like that phrase... mental obesity. But our nation is also plagued by physical obesity as well. Reminds me of the story of a speaker who said 'I'm happy to see such a dense crowd here tonight.' and somebody in the back shouted 'Take it easy, buddy, we're not all dense! '
