Too Many Poem by Paul Warren

Too Many

Too many nights alone
Drinking bourbon straight

Too many broken dreams
Shattered and no more

Too many promises made
That were never kept

Too many sunrises
With a booze headache

Too many days
That were exactly the same.

Your poem shows us that taking a drug like alcohol is only a short term fix. A good poem.
