Too Wrong For Me To Say That I Love You More - Poem by Charlz dela Cruz

Too wrong for me to say that I love you more
When all these times I have loved you most.
Why every dancing wave flows straight to shore?
Just to mirror what this heart of mine shows.
See the world fall, but then would later stand
To smite his lover’s cheek with cherished lies.
Blind fate - - yet all are woefully planned:
Fall once, then with devouring time, rise!
But my heart, too humble, too weak for you;
I fell; I fall - again - and always.
My dear saint, my love is deep - - way too true;
And will love you more beyond eternal days.
Thus, envious world sins with mug lover’s deal;
But please do catch me - - because my love is real.
