Torn

Cast torn upon the roadside
Lying broken in contemplation
Thoughts flowing through my head

My heart torn in two places
a life tugged in dfferent directions
Two opposite ends of the earth

The truth is one cannot heal
for as one heals the other is destroyed
In different places
the pain seeps through
