Touched Poem by Michele C. Messina Long

Touched

Though he was void of sight,
He came to know me like no one before him.

With his unique vision,
He unveiled those depths of my soul I had not discovered on my own.

And while my eyes were closed,
He taught me how to see things new again; this time with my heart.

With every caress, I learned his language,
Of love, and life, and the ecstasy of oneness.

No one has taught me more
For lack of words.
