I was sitting on my rooftop
Staring at the sky
The sun was beaming at me
There I saw you looking at me
And my heart skipped a beat
Your beautiful eyes gazed at me
And into my world
of darkness and silence,
you brought light and music.
From the darkness within,
The world around me came to a stop,
For just a few seconds,
As I saw the love in your eyes,
You looked at me with your warm smile,
Your smile crossed my soul
And I knew I could love.
You came into my life
And made me complete
Each time I saw you
My heart skipped a beat,
I never knew I could love.
For you are the one
God sent from above
The angel I needed
who would teach me love again.
You've captured my heart
And touched my soul.
