Trampled Poem by Missy Lynn

Trampled

You destroyed the
Flowers that grew in me
As if stamping upon
My very psyche
My life’s petals
Became cruel under your feet
From desolation I grew differently
Hate to secrete
What was once beautiful,
Has transmuted under you
The way to relive is to
Grow to my best as I can
And let not the flower of my soul
Be ruined by man
