Transformation Poem by Ana Monnar

Transformation

Rating: 5.0

Transforming from doormat to witch
Sometimes drastic measures need be
Being so nice gets you nowhere
Pushed to the wall – now I can see
People who care reciprocate
Not give you more headaches and pain
Someone who is always asking favors
But likes to do none; beats my brain
Most normal people will not be
Selfish, cold-hearted, relentless
Next time you call don’t ask for favors
You will hear clearly, “No! Not yes.”
If this shoe fits you, try it on
For those who this message is not
Let it slide, ignore, disregard
It’s just for those who live to plot

I loved it 100% and do understand the feeling, when you rather be nice and not pushed, but after all, for some, the more you give, the more they push, and push to where you must limit and say NO and feel bad, because you are a nice person, that likes to be agreeable. LOVED IT :)

I disagree with the initial sentiment but see where it is coming from: I entirely agree with the latter. Anyway you ARE 'nice' and infinitely more! t x
