Trapped Poem by Ti'ara D. Perry

Trapped

I'm trapped inside
my own little house
with nothing to do
I'm paying the cost
its like I'm in jail
locked up behind bars
no longer I'm free
outside, no more
so alone, in the dark
through the window
I see stars, stars that shine
just like the sun
but I'm still trapped
beneath someone
can't do this, can't do that
I wish I was free
but here I'm still trapped
