Fall brings stunning color to the forests and a pleasant breeze to the air. Luckily for foodies and wine-lovers, it also signals the ripening of grapes and, thus, the fall harvest in wine country favorites such as Walla Walla, Washington. Its downtown area is dotted with wine-tasting rooms, outdoor cafes, and acclaimed restaurants, and many of these businesses have special menus and other events planned for the harvest season.
