The Half Price Singapore Surprise, launched last year, is back from May 23 to June 30 specially for Malaysian tourists for a family vacation in the island republic during the school holiday. During this time, it is half price for all Malaysian tourists at 16 over tourists attractions such as the Jurong Birds Park, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and the Singaore Science Centre. Many hotels are also offering half price for this promotion period. Gurmit Singh the popular sitcom actor of Phua Chu Kang has even become the spoeksman for the Half Price Singapore Surprise campaign. Malaysian accounted for the fourth largest tourist arrival in Singapore last year.
