Treasures Poem by Lillian Joyce Merrill

Treasures

Melodies of birds so sweet
Flow gently on the air
Childish voices softly speak
And flowers bloom everywhere
Precious are these little things
That bring a happy smile
Simple little treasures of memories and friends
Help us to smile more brightly
If sadness mars the day
