Treasures For Heaven Poem by Louise Myers

Treasures For Heaven

I try to seek important gems,
For heavens treasure chest,
No matter where I find myself,
For Him I do my best,
I do not mention this to you,
Because of selfish pride,
For we all know, the truth within,
From Jesus, we cannot hide,
So as I stroll this earthly soil,
Collecting nuggets along the way,
My love and praise to Him I'll give,
For our meeting in heaven one day.

Following Matthew 6: 19,20 Do not
store up for yourselves treasures on
earth where moth and rust destoy, and
where thieves break in and steal. But
store up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where moth and rust do not
destroy and where thieves do not
break in and steal. (Kingskid)
